2004
was (at the time) the busiest year in spurn
history. Our three-week run at the
Vital
Theatre (the last production with original spurn
cast member Shawna Anderson) was immediately followed by spurn opening the prestigious 2004
New
York International Fringe Festival to a sold-out crowd
and rave reviews.
Yes,
the bitter angst and fantastical whimsy of spurn
was spreading to greater audiences in larger venues. Don’t
say we didn’t warn you.
