Actor (2008 - Present)

For Chris, the path to spurn XII has been kind of rambling. In the 90’s, he starred in a number of underground films with San Francisco D.I.Y. guru Danny Plotnick, including Steel Belted Romeos and I’m Not Fascinating. Later on, he moved to LA, where he performed in his first sketch show, “Shrunken Head Circus”, working with members of the Groundlings and Acme Theater. Chris studied improv at Upright Citizens Brigade and received his Master’s Degree in Educational Theatre from NYU. He has worked throughout the city as a teaching artist and has been in residency in places like rural Ohio and Upstate New York.

He has performed here with his team “Bloody”, and is currently a cast member of the monthly show “Sporknotes- the Improv Book Club”. Chris is proud to be making his NYC Sketch Comedy bones with spurn XII. This could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
